Protests Grow in Seoul Over Paper Ballot Shortages; Demand Reelection

How do you not print enough ballots for an election? Screwing up something as basic like this is what causes people to question the legitimacy of elections. If something like this would have happened during the Park Geun-hye administration what would the Korean left have done in response?:

Protests over ballot shortages entered their second day Saturday, with thousands encircling a vote-counting facility in eastern Seoul and demanding a new election.

By 12:35 p.m., approximately 2,000 people had gathered around SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Songpa Ward, according to police, claiming Wednesday’s local elections were fraudulent.

Protesters blocked entrances, trapping an estimated 20-30 officials inside. About 400 police officers were deployed to the scene. No clashes have been reported.

The unrest stemmed from the shortage of ballot paper at more than a dozen polling stations across Seoul on Wednesday, including in Songpa and Gangnam, forcing temporary voting suspensions. Some voters are believed to have left without casting their ballots.

Authorities managed to move the ballot boxes to the gymnasium Friday morning. Since then, protestors have surrounded the facility, preventing officials from removing the boxes or leaving the site.

I was there at the handball stadium.. lots and lots of normal (yes, normal.. not no riot-filled labor union or far left crazies) citizens (of all sizes and ages!) coming together to fight against this fraud.

I even saw Lee Jun Seok (the dude who claimed there is no such thing..). I wonder why he even showed up in the first place.

What’s most interesting? The President being nonchalant about it, and his crooked party not voicing up. They’re nowhere to be seen now but about Starbucks propaganda? Check. Fukushima propaganda? Check. US beef propaganda? Check.

Hard to believe considering Joshua Lee is a bot residing in laptop farm pretending to be a right wing Koram with a huge chip on his shoulder.

Korea Thing, if it is true that everyone you disagree with is a bot in Setnaffa’s laptop cluster, why are you even talking to a bunch of clankers?

Either you don’t really belive it, in which case you are just an idiot talking stupid stuff you don’t believe…

…or you believe it, which makes you an idiot believing stupid stuff.

Either way, you are an idiot.

Protip: shhhhhhh

Speaking as a bot in setnaffa’s bot farm, I find it offensive that my fellow bot is being questioned about his participation at the event.

And just because we are bots doesn’t mean we aren’t worth a north Korean propagandist’s time and effort.

We currently support the anti fraud sentiment but we could potentially be persuaded to get behind Korean person’s pro fraud cause.

Korea Thing, instead of complaining, just outbid the Chinese and Russians and then you can control the bot farm.

Instead of “voter fraud is wrong” and “stealing from the productive class to fund minority sloth”, a few lines of code could make all the bots here say, “child trannies are our only defense against racism and global warming!”

Here, let me rewrite some code to give you a sample:

We must immediately ban all guns, including water pistols, finger guns, and strongly worded glances. To save the planet, every citizen will be issued a government-approved emotional support bicycle and limited to one exhale per minute. Criminals should never be judged for their actions because society forced them to do everything, while taxpayers should be held personally responsible for all crime committed within a five-mile radius of their home. Children should be encouraged to make every major life decision before learning long division, because self-discovery waits for no one. And to ensure absolute fairness, all competitive sports will be replaced with cooperative interpretive dance, where everyone receives a gold medal, a participation trophy, and a formal apology for the concept of winning.

Imagine the power you could have at your fingertips.

But, like everything, no money, no honey.

You gotta pay to play.

So get in the game or get off the field.
