South Korea Says USFK Moving Parts of the THAAD Battery to the Middle East

If missiles and launchers are being moved that would still mean the system in Korea is combat effective; it would just have a smaller inventory. However, if its radar or C2 systems are being moved then it would be combat ineffective:

The United States has been moving parts of its Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) anti-missile system from South Korea to the Middle East, the Washington Post reported, citing two officials.

The reported movement of parts of a THAAD missile defense system comes amid media reports that the U.S. military stationed in South Korea has shipped out some of its military assets amid an intensifying war in the Middle East.

“The Pentagon is moving parts of a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system from South Korea to the Middle East,” the report said.

“The Forever War in Iran”

Before repeating whatever buzzword you have been instructed to repeat, consider the situation for just one second.

As of now, a war IN Iran has not even started. Yet you yap of forever wars in Iran as if you have said something profound.

There has been a war OVER Iran and NEXT TO Iran and those have gone quite well for America with clear goals and a clear offramp.

And once there is nothing left to bomb, the Iranian people will do what they did in 1979 or they won’t. They deserve the results of whatever choice they make.

America can keep a presence to keep Iran contained, but that is high-tempo training and practice, not a forever war… a net benefit for readiness.

There will likely be no war in Iran. This can be determined by looking for clues similar to the 9 month ramp up before Iraq. We see nothing.

You see nothing anyway except your wagging tongue.

Trump will TACO any day now over Iran since he found out it’s not a one and done like Venezuela. Hey, but higher oil prices are great because we make a lot of money, right? By “we” he means the oil companies and anyone associated with them, not the peasants paying at the pump.

Song of the Joe Rogan Audience

Now is the mid-term of our discontent

Made more tedious by this Trumpevah War

Oil prices aren’t great, but they’ve been worse quite recently.
Now they’re at 98, in June 2008 the price was around 140. May 2022 the price was 114.
Joe Rogan’s shtick is hit or miss, but he did set the standard for proving a 3 hour interview on a radio show can work…and in fact improve things. He doesn’t just interview Elon Musk, there are a lot of people, some reputable some not but I’ve listened to several interviews where I had a poor impression of the person and after 3 hours of really listening to their personal stories I’ve seldom failed to be impressed. This includes Bernie Sanders (yes, he was on the Rogan show and pretty recently too). Snoop Dog has a statue of Bruce Lee in front of his home, that is one of his most admired heroes…who knew? I listened to an interview with Mike Tyson and now have so much respect for that man (before that interview I’d only thought of him as the crazy guy who bit off an ear in a fight). And so forth…
Most importantly, but setting that standard other more reputable shows have followed suit so now we get Huberman’s podcast with experts in all sorts of medical and scientific fields of study, and “SheMD” (obgyn), to name a couple.

“Trump will TACO any day now over Iran since he found out it’s not a one and done like Venezuela.”

It is hard to know what that is supposed to mean. It feels like it is just more pro-terrorist/criminal/anti-American shìt by shìt people talking shìt without thinking because they can’t think.

The attack on Iran had very clear primary and secondary goals.

The primary goals are pretty much done. Nuclear program seems like they will have to start over. Missile production and underground storage is destroyed with significantly fewer launches (mostly at civilian targets). Drone factories gone. Air force is gone. Entire large ship navy has been sunk except the one stranded in Sri Lanka. Their proxy forces are hesitant to do much and those fighting them have been empowered, such as Lebanon banning any military action by Hezbollah. Iran’s influence in the Arab world has been weakened and the Arab states have pulled together, especially after Iranian attacks on civilian Arab targets.

Apart from an (incorrect) Israeli attack on oil infrastructure, nothing intentional has been done to hurt the Iranian people or the success of a replacement regime.

Secondary goals take more time but the American military can keep up the tempo. These include increasingly smaller targets until the government simply cannot function, even at a local level.

In theory, the government will eventually be so weakened, the people can do what they did in 1979 and have a non-Islamic revolution.

But that is up to the Iranian people.

The primary goal of making Iran zero threat to America, Israel, and the Arab world, is very much on track to being accomplished.

And, even if Trump “TACO”s now, enough has been accomplished that Iran is less of a threat for some time.

In fairness, I am reevaluating the situation and revising a previous opinion. I think there might be boots on the ground. I suspect America coukd take some islands. It is a low-risk venture due to naval and air superiority and it has excellent long-term payoff… if the global whining can be managed… but Trump seems not to care.

It would be reasonable to give the two Tunb islands and Abu Musa to UAE. And America should take Kharg as a spoil of war but make much of its economic output beneficial to Iran when they cooperate and cut it off when they do not. This would be a shocking move… but Trump is shocking… and, as Russia demonstrated, the consequences can be managed (Crimea).

The amazing thing is how this is being poopoo’d by the same anti-Americans who hated on the Panama win, the Venezuela win, any ICE win, the Iranian win (so far)… and will go full hate on the Greenland win.

Keep hating as America wins.
