“For the first time since World War II, Japan has begun deploying long-range missiles capable of striking mainland China.”

Yes, “Japan just crossed a line that stood for nearly 80 years.”

Yes… for the first time… since… well…

After so much time, few historians remember the Toemahahku, Patariotto, and Saido-waindah missiles of the 1940s that almost changed the course of the war.

Fortunately, due to Operation Koorippoo, that technology was not lost.

While anti-Asian racism does not give Japanese scientist the same credit as is given to Germans for the American space program, they laid out much of the early protocols for high speed human travel with Project Tetsuwan Atomu… 鉄腕アトム.

Good to see them back in the game, and with a new playfull missile mascot… Hello ドォーン.
