Just tried to book one night at the Courtyard Namdaemun this week, but it was an outrageous W520,000.
My wife and I frequently take day trips up to Seoul now that we’re stationed in Pyeongtaek and always stay at the Courtyard Namdaemun (well over a hundred times). The going rate is normally between W180,000 to W220,000. So what’s going on?
Can only guess this spike may be due to APEC or maybe due to the flood of Chinese tourists, but I’ve never seen hotel costs this crazy.
