A special counsel team on Wednesday wrapped up its first questioning of former first lady Kim Keon Hee over her alleged involvement in stock manipulation schemes, election meddling and other charges. Kim denied allegations against her, according to judicial sources.
The questioning lasted more than seven hours after beginning at around 10:23 a.m. at special counsel Min Joong-ki’s office in central Seoul.
Kim is the first spouse of a former or sitting president to publicly appear as a suspect in a criminal investigation.

When looking at animation, we are oddly comfortable with the horrible representations of humans in Southpark.
Moving up technically, the Flintstones are cute.
The girls from Frozen are loved by all.
At the top, is something like Mad Max: Fury Road where nobody noticed stunts were done with CGI instead of real people.
This forms a nice graph of comfort with what people see.
But near the top, between Frozen and Mad Max, is Polar Express. More, but imperfect realism is not a plus. It is technically an improvement but it looks creepy. This dip in comfort level is called Uncanny Valley.
This implies that sometime in mankind’s past, we evolved to be unconfortable with things that look almost human but aren’t.
I speculate this is because, in the not too distant past, there were at least 7 archaic human species all living at the same time with 3 or 4 having enough contact we still carry their genes.
When I look at some women, I really want to believe they are hot, as they check all the boxes.
But sometimes I find myself in Uncanny Valley.
Something is off.
They look like something trying too hard to look human.

At the center of the investigation is a stock manipulation scandal involving BMW dealership Deutsch Motors that dates back to 2010. Prosecutors allege that Kim entrusted her and her mother’s trading accounts to a seasoned trader specializing in price manipulation, enabling their use in a coordinated scheme to manipulate prices.
Another key aspect of the investigation centers on allegations of behind-the-scenes interference in candidate selection within the then-ruling People Power Party (PPP).
Also under review are allegations that Kim received requests for political favors from individuals associated with the Unification Church.
Kim and her mother are alleged to have profited to the tune of USD 1 million as a result of the stock manipulation scheme.
People Power Party(PPP) lawmaker Kim Young-sun benefited when she was selected as a candidate and won a National Assembly seat even though she wasn’t eligible.
The Unification Church is suspected of attempting to lobby Kim in order to gain support for projects in Cambodia in the church’s interests and they passed on expensive jewelry that Kim accepted.
There are clear indications of corruption which should be investigated.
