Korean American Federation Criticizes ICE Raids in Los Angeles
|What this article is not telling readers is that many of the Korean-American owned businesses in LA’s Koreatown use illegal immigrant labor, especially from Latin-American countries. This is the primary reason the Korean American Federation is speaking out against the ICE raids:

US federal immigration authorities conducted a series of coordinated enforcement operations across Los Angeles on Friday, including in neighborhoods with a high concentration of Korean American-owned businesses. The move has raised concerns within the local Korean diaspora.
The raids reportedly targeted areas in downtown Los Angeles’ fashion district, commonly referred to as the “Jobber Market,” where several Korean American-run wholesale clothing stores are located.
In a statement released the same day, the Korean American Federation of Los Angeles condemned the enforcement actions, describing them as “unilateral and heavy-handed.”
“These actions by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) disregard proper legal procedures,” the organization said. “We urgently call on our local elected officials to take action and provide solutions to this crisis. In addition, we will work closely with local organizations to ensure that no individuals are unjustly harmed.”
“Even individuals who struggle with English or are unable to provide identification immediately are reportedly being arrested or detained first,” the organization added. “This has caused significant harm and confusion, not only among Korean nationals but also among local residents.”
You can read more at the link, but what do ROK Heads think would happen in Korea if a bunch of Americans started attacking Korean law enforcement while waving U.S. flags?
That is like the US Union leader coming out and supporting the criminal illegal job stealers. Suppose to represent American workers.
A pretty significant portion of Koreans in the country are here illegally (visa overstays). We had a business in Atlanta and when the first illegal immigration crackdown happened during Trump’s first term, our business tanked. My wife, being Korean, knew a lot of people in the Atlanta Koreatown, and according to her, a lot of them were here illegally, a lot of whom came from Korea to avoid debts, lawsuits, etc.
Maybe noisy Koreans need a little more attention to the community immigration status.
“unilateral and heavy-handed”
America has no obligation to negotiate with criminals… not manufactured “criminals” engaged in victimless crime… but real criminals intentionally breaking valid laws that truly protect America and Americans from various harms.
These criminals are not cooperative and choose to continue breaking the law and harming America and Americans. There is no hand heavy enough.
Protecting America from criminal invaders is unilateral and heavy-handed by nature.
And it should be more-so.
National Guardsman tries to shoot Aussie woman in the back.
Having (incompetently) learned how to shoot (during his AF service) means he only hits the back of her calf
Bad.
When asked why he did it, the Guardsman retrofitted an answer to explain his poor marksmanship and the targeting of an Aussie woman:
Ah wanted that sheila to hop it like a kangaroo.
Turns out it was not a National Guardsman but
… an LAPD officer who did his BMT at San Antonio Lackland.
Doh!
“National Guardsman tries to shoot Aussie woman in the back.”
No he didn’t. Policy is buttocks or legs.
That keeps the less-than-lethal less than lethal.
News is reporting she was shot in the leg.
Better news is reporting she was “caught in the crossfire”.
Best news is reporting she was no longer on camera and was lollygagging in the area where insurrectionists, rioters, foreign militants, and their treasonous supporter and enablers were being cleared with rubber bullets.
They really need to go full Kwangju on these threats to America.
CH, you are behind the LA Times here.
LAPD officer. Video clearly shows the Aussie woman was doing a piece to camera and was about 30 yards and a 45 degree angle from the end of the LAPD firing line.
The last officer in that firing line clearly raises his rifle, shot is heard, Aussie woman hops, simultaneously gunsmoke is seen coming from the barrel of that LAPD officer’s rifle. No other LAPD have their rifles raised.
Xenophobic misogyny aimed at a blonde woman with her back turned.
Gratuitous and sneaky money shot.
Doubt there were any incels in Gwangju in 1980 but there is indubitably one incel in the LAPD.
Sad.
Hey, LAPD officer. Leave that Aussie woman alone.
