During my recent trip to Seoul, I asked many very sharp Korean friends why South Korean tech firms were losing ground to Chinese ones. "Where is the Korean TikTok or DeepSeek?" I asked. All said flat out that South Koreans "aren't creative" and mainly blame the education system. https://t.co/ctww8KVduM
DeepSeek turns out to illicitly piggyback its “software” on Western AI architecture, so I wouldn’t use that as an example of creativity.

Seems like King Baeksu’s “sharp Korean friends” are maybe not all that bright.
Or maybe it’s just King Baeksu that’s not that bright?
Ah, heck, let’s embrace the healing power of “and”.

It’s hard to be “creative”, when SK is a colony of US services (Netflix, Google, Youtube, Facebook, Nazi X, Instagram, etc). They stole those internet services and they rip off South Korea $200 billion a year. Why is South Korea subsidizing them? Who made these deals? Now if South Korea blocked all these services like the PRC does, then it might have a better chance. A few years ago, China blocked South Korea’s KaoKao and Line – unlike Japan and SEA, South Korea couldn’t crack fortress China. We must bring all these industries back to Korea and make Korea great again.

Thank you, KM, for proving me 100% correct, time after time.
