Picture of the Day: Seoul’s Thermometer of Love
Workers set up the “Thermometer of Love” at Gwanghwamun Square in central Seoul on Nov. 25, 2024, as part of a two-month donation drive by the Community Chest of Korea. This annual nationwide charity campaign encourages people to donate to the needy, with the thermometer rising by one degree for every 1 percent of the target donations collected. (Yonhap)

The “Thermometer of Love” is convinently positioned near the “Statue of Bítch Keep Talkin’, Gonna Get the Stick” and the “Pole of So Many Camera, You Would Think You Were in China or London.”
They sure went through a lot of trouble to make that Thermometer of Love.
It turns out, you can just order one online if you have a VPN.
Did they build this downtown next to the train station? Maybe in one of those storefronts with the big glass in front.
