Camp Casey Epicenter of Coronavirus Infection Cluster in USFK

Here is the latest on the COVID situation for USFK:

Thirty-one U.S. service members from a single Army base in South Korea tested positive for the coronavirus last week as the country reached a new record for daily infections.

The 31 new patients, who tested positive between July 5 and 11, are from Camp Casey, a military outpost near the Demilitarized Zone on the border with North Korea.

They are among 58 people from U.S. Forces Korea who tested positive last week, marking the most infections reported by the command during the pandemic. The previous record from early this year was 42 cases recorded over a 12-day span.

So USFK brags about an “over 80%” vaccination rate yet has a bunch of cases.

Meanwhile, they demand vaccinated people wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Is this theater? Is it control freakism? Is the vaccine a placebo?

The vaccine was supposed to protect against covid… return life to normal… ensure masks and social distancing were not necessary…

…yet… somehow… it doesn’t work like that.

It’s as if the vaccine does nothing at all.

I will have faith in the vaccine when the people who tell me to have faith in the vaccine start acting like they have faith in the vaccine.

ALL the circumstantial evidence says not to get involved in the vaccine. ALL of it.

Hey look at it this way, Casey used to be the epicenter of so many other types of infections via the ville.

What I want to know, and they never tell you, is how many of those who tested positive for Coronavirus were previously vaccinated. Is it zero? If only un-vaccinated people tested positive, that would indicate that the vaccines are working.

GI GI GI “The vaccines make you less likely to get the virus …”

Wrong. It has nothing to do with contracting the virus. Nothing.

The product insert clearly states it will reduce severity of symptoms. The vaccinated still contract and transmit the virus (just like everyone else).

“…and if you do the symptoms are less severe…”

THAT is correct.

“…thus you are less likely to spread it.”

Wrong again. Product insert makes no mention of this feature. News and media organizations have inserted (made up) this feature on their own.

Ref Israel, a link to CNN? Really?

So….

If you can still catch covid and you can still transmit covid, is it really a vaccine?

What was the purpose of it again?

“Less severe symptoms” is pretty subjective.

The people I know who have gotten it range from 28 to 91… in perfect shape to grossly overweight smokers. One fat guy in his 40s spent a week in the hospital. One fat guy in his 50s had a medium cold. The rest ranged from mild to upper moderate cold.

Certainly everybody would have preferred “less severe symptomatic”. It is unclear if they would be willing to be test subjects for experimental medical technology with only one subjective benefit.

The smart ones would not.

The COVID-19 symptoms that were tested:
1 – Sore throat
2 – Fever
3 – Headache
4 – Difficulty breathing
5 – Loss of taste or smell

When exposed to the virus, the control group (placebo) and study group (vaccinated) rated above symptoms on a scale of 1-10. 97% of the study group rated their symptoms as less severe. That’s where 97% effective came from.

So yeah, very subjective.

Had less cases when everyone wasn’t vaccinated. Why did we vaccinate again. Wasn’t like the dead were piling up at 121 hospital….
