“but failed to buy vaccines because of our leaders’ hubris.”

The current vaccine situation in Korea summed up well in one eloquent sentence.

Yes there was a hubris mixed in with nationalism because of all the praise they got from foreign politicians and the media for containing Covid-19 while avoiding a general lockdown. That and the belief that Korean developed vaccines and treatments(which have yet to show themselves) will save the day and earn the leftists more praise from overseas.

“Good luck convincing Congress to share vaccines with us when there are many Americans who need[*] the vaccines.”

He mis-spelled *WANT.

What we NEED: Sunshine, a clean diet, healthy fats, grass-fed free range meats, outdoor movement/exercise, unrestricted/maskless breathing, high quality nutritional supplements (lipsomal Vit C and D3, daily zinc, magnesium L-threonate), proven cures like HCQ and nebulized hydrogen peroxide (i.e., not ventilators), bodies unpolluted by toxic chemicals/vaccines, and an honest gov’t that advocates for real human health (based on a regenerative organic farming system) instead of big pharma profit.

What a wonderful world it would be.

See how the Chun-doo-hwan admiring rightists are out in the full force, wishing the vaccine program will fail so that they can gloat, “see commie Moon.. we told you so!”.

If the vaccine program fails for whatever reason(s), nevermind that thousands of people will get sick or die. But to these sickos, all that matters to them is that this makes commie Moon look bad so that they can take power. They can moan and bitch about the “left” all they want, but they can’t ignore the facts that South Korea’s international rankings on corruption and press freedoms have climbed astronomically, compared to how the Right Wing have mismanaged the country. Instead, they should look towards Japan, the country that they Right Wing admire so much, and see how that country is sinking into an abyss of corruption, incompetence, coverups, fake news, and lack of press freedoms. That’s the kind of society that the Right Wing would want for South Korea. Crazy people.

South Korea corruption ranking in 2012 under the Conservative rule – 61st in the world – worse than Greece and even worse than many third world nations. Under the Commie Moon government in 2020, it improves to 31st in the world, 3rd straight years of improvement.

South Korean press freedoms in 2015 under the Conservative rule – South Korea ranked 75th in the world for press freedoms. Under the Commie Moon government, that ranking improves to 42nd in 2021, best in Asia and better than the United States at 44th.

Then let’s think back how the Right Wing government handled the MERS epidemic in 2015, with nothing but coverups, incompetence, abuses, and mis-handlings. If the Right Wing was still in charge today, the number of deaths wouldn’t just be a thousand or so, it would be in the hundreds of thousands, just like in the US, Brazil, UK, or anywhere where the right wing are in power, while the Korean economy would be in shambles – just like how the Right Wing government under the Kim Young Sam administration in 1997 – drove the country into the IMF bailout status.

I THANK GOD EVERYDAY people like this bald “John Lee” (whoever the F*ck he is) or TOK aren’t in charge of the country. They would have run South Korea to the ground through their incompetence and corruption.

IMF forecast for South Korea economy: 3.5%. But based on early numbers, the first quarter is looking to be quite the economic expansion at 5.7% clip – fastest in almost two decades, this despite the pandemic clobbering the service/tourism sector by small businesses. Ya Commie Moon is terrible! Let’s have the corrupt bald people back in power!

Pretty much sums up the commie moon era.

“If the vaccine program fails for whatever reason(s), nevermind that thousands of people will get sick or die.”

Korea Man, as of right now, only 1813 people in Korea have died of covid… without any vaccine at all.

You have a higher chance of being rapęd… as a man.

The vaccine program cannot fail… because it cannot succeed… because it is a fraud.

If you really love Korea, you will celebrate the wisdom of the Moon administration for protecting Koreans from being test subjects for the multinational pharmaceutical companies and disguising it as incompetence to keep the globalists from punishing Korea for lack of compliance.

Do not let anyone condition you to believe a vaccine program is any metric of success.

To be fair, there are some things that the Moon administration has done right such as its handling of the second MERS crisis about three years ago.

Of course back then the PM was Lee Nakyeon, who seems to be type to get things done and push things through unlike Jung Segyun, who is more of a political operator.

Had Lee been the PM during the pandemic, I believe the initial response would have been better(ie better quarantine of people coming in from China, early last year) and vaccines may have been pre-ordered earlier. (It was Lee Nakyeon, who suggested last year that the government should put more effort into the procurement of vaccines while the rest of the DPK and government were looking the other way).

But as we well aware, the leftists foul-ups overshadow their achievements(whatever little there is).

The leftists were given the chance at holding power, when Park Geunhye and her friend through their actions(or inaction) destroyed the conservative party and support base. However, instead of seizing the opportunity, Moon tried to ape the failed policies of his mentor believing that he can make them work. In the end, those policies being failures before obviously are failures again. As a result, Moon and his followers and underlings have aped his mentor by putting the leftists in the same position they were in during the last year of the Roh Moohyun presidency. Hubris indeed.

So, for the conservatives, will they get their act together and grab this golden opportunity or would they squander it by depending on support from pastors and flag waving senior citizens?

Yeah, Japan is far from a bastion of fiscal conservatism and low taxes, that’s for sure.
