This photo, provided by the Cheonan city government on Oct. 29, 2020, shows farmers shooting laser beams at migrant birds, believed to have been the source of a recent outbreak of avian influenza in the region, some 160 kilometers south of Seoul. The laser beam is part of the city’s efforts to prevent migrant birds from spreading bird flu at livestock farms in the area. (Yonhap)
