Every flag vendor in Itaewon sold them in 1989 despite the fact they were not supposed to be displayed. I bought one, brought it home. All it ever did was take up space in my closet. I finally threw it out decades ago.

It was popular enough during the Dukes of Hazzard days. That show rather brilliantly defanged that symbol, along with several others.

Last time I saw a confederate flag on base was at Osan back around 2010. One of the fighter pilots had a old sonata paint like the general lee from the MTB;s duke’s of hazzard. Interesting since after initially trying to be neutral KY fell under Union protection from 1862 on. Also, KY contributed more troops to the North than it did to the South..

My LDS relatives told me of a distantly-related fellow who rode with the 1st Kentucky Cavalry Regiment for a year and then became a Union Magistrate after the state went for the North…

Those were called “Border States”, supplied both sides, MD., KY, MO… and there are other states like that, I’m not as aware of their history like Delaware.

May I display a Mississippi state flag?
May I display the upper corner of it at roughly 4:1 scale?
When was it ever?

There was a time when those on the left told us to celebrate diversity. Now they’ve all turned into raging neo-Pharisees…
