Due to the potential furlough, we will host town hall meetings for service members, family members, Department of Defense civilians, contractors & those who rely upon installation services on Mon. Feb. 24. Check with your local installation for specific times and locations.
Every service member in Korea will eventually be affected by a furlough of Korean employees. No doubt USFK will start with MWR facilities shutting down the fast food kiosks and getting rid of employees on the periphery and those who can be replaced by USFK personnel like gate guards and office workers. However, if the talks drag out and more cuts are necessary many non-essential services could be affected and quality of life for service members and others in Korea could get really bad.

Lets get everyone together in one room. Good plan at this time…not.
