The simple fact is that NYC is less of a threat than North Korea.
Unless your name is Epstein.
Or Trump.
Or you’re Jewish.
Or you’re illegally selling loose cigarettes.
Or you’re looking for a decent steak or seafood.

Anyone who believes what the North Korean government releases about their military needs to seek mental health treatment immediately. Oh, and there’s also the simple fact that the country is basically a military dictatiorship with the king, er, “dear leader”, Fattie III, made a general and ruling the place.
Something to remember about the police budget is that I am willing to bet they probably pay more for retirement benefits each yer than actual every day operational costs. Additionally a North Korean soldier is not getting paid as well as a policeman and not getting as generous retirement package.
