For those who have been asking, there will be a Veterans Day Ceremony, on Monday, Nov. 11, at the USFK Memorial, starting at 11 a.m. We honor the contributions & sacrifices of the more than 22 million veterans & service members who have proudly served our country. pic.twitter.com/jADfm9qenL
As an aside, the American Legion was unable honored veterans who served in the Cold War until Congress passed the S.504/H.R. 1641 LEGION Act which was signed by President Trump on July 30, 2019.
It’s about time. Cold War and many other veterans were previously barred by law from joining that organization.
Not certain I’d fit in, personally; but they’re bound to have stories worth hearing…
