North Korea Unhappy with “Sickening” Nuclear Talks with U.S. Negotiators in Sweden
It looks like the U.S. negotiators were not about to drop even limited sanctions for little to nothing in return:
North Korea’s top nuclear envoy on Monday said it was up to the United States to decide whether the two sides will hold further denuclearization talks, pending sufficient change from Washington on its position.
En route home to Pyongyang after much anticipated working-level discussions with the United States fell apart on Saturday, North Korea’s chief nuclear negotiator Kim Myong-gil told reporters at Beijing’s Capital International Airport that his recent exchange with the U.S. delegation was “sickening,” making clear his dissatisfaction with the United States’ unchanged position on denuclearization.

You can read more at the link, but I continue to believe that the North Koreans if they don’t get the limited sanctions dropped before the New Year, will create a “crisis” in order to get the deal they want.
Creating a “crisis” might not earn them anything they really want. Seems like the norks are really just wormy Democrats… can’t negotiate, can’t meme, can’t tell a joke…
Or maybe they want Trump to have a war forced on him just as he starts seriously campaigning for President?
They really don’t want to hear Trump call the DOD and authorize a full yippee-ki-yay. They really don’t.
And if they started it, it won’t be a “preemptive strike”, will it?
Maybe another Cheonan. Low level (sick comment) enough that nothing will be done. Than another and another until KJU gets what he wants and No accountability.
Rascal1212, I hope South Korea grows a pair. If they don’t, I think Trump won’t bend. And attacking only South Korean property won’t rise to the level required to threaten America. But a South Korea willing to defend itself, as well as asking for assistance from Japan, would be worth defending with American assets.
Ask Japan for assistance. I think SK is to focussed on Japan bashing. But….? If Japan were to assist, KJU would nuke them without hesitation.
