It doesn’t seem to match anything in South Korea seen via Google Earth… GI has stepped up his game!!
It is the Alpensia Ski Resort in Gangwon-do. Great job MTB Rider. What fooled people is that the image from Google Earth I oriented towards the east looking directly at the ski slope.
Can we get the exact Lat/Long coordinates, because I STILL cannot find it. I even reinstalled google earth last night to make sure I had the most up to date information, and I did (and currently am) rotating the angle, but still nothing…

Okay, I found it. But it’s NOT Alpensia.
Alepensia is located at 325 Solbong-ro, Daegwalnyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, South Korea.
THIS place is Alps Resort Condo, 107 Heul-ri, Ganseong-eup, Kangwon, South Korea.

I just made a guess, since I knew Alpensia is where the Winter Olympics will be held, and that’s all the buzz these days.
I never would have found that place, unless they were to hold an MTB race during the off season…

Just to throw my $0.02 in, I was watching this one and figured it was something to do with the Winter “Look What We’re Doing” Shenanigans in PeyyyyyyyongChang but this is up by Inje and Sokcho. Spent over an hour scouring sat images of Daegwalnyeong for nothing…
