China No Longer Top Priority in Pentagon’s New National Defense Strategy
Hopefully China doesn’t take this as a signal to become more aggressive against Taiwan:
A new U.S. national defense strategy released Friday puts protection of the homeland and access to strategic terrain in the Western Hemisphere atop the military’s agenda, marking a shift from the Pentagon’s previous position that countering China was the Defense Department’s number one pacing threat. The Pentagon’s long-awaited new plan lines up with the White House’s National Security Strategy, released last month, and prioritizes border security, targeting drug traffickers and “fearlessly” defending “America’s interests across the hemisphere.” “We will guarantee U.S. military and commercial access to key terrain, especially the Panama Canal, Gulf of America, and Greenland,” the document states. “We will provide President Trump with credible military options to use against narco-terrorists wherever they may be.”

This is exactly the right thing to do.
America must focus on complete control of the Americas. That will bring prosperity to the Americas while Europe and Asia do their thing…
…likely China-dominated prosparity in Asia… and Europe undergoing Islamification and Africanification while destroying their industry and quality of life through chains of bad decisions. (Let’s see if history has a clue how the people respond to this kind of thing.)
In the Americas, foreign influence must be removed. The cartels must be broken. Corruption must be ended. Redistributionists must be purged.
As a bonus, this sets up China to think they can get by taking Taiwan… and they can… and that is a good thing. American manufacturing can, and will, fill the gap. China will get what is left of Taiwan and sanction from America, the Americas, and anybody who wants to do business with the Americas.
Nobody knows what will happen but one outcome could be economic turmoil leading to social turmoil in China. That would be beneficial for America.
The world is a complicated place but at least America has a plan and is moving in a correct and workable direction instead of floundering in pointless actions and forever wars.
In other words;
We Setnaffarians have received a huge payment from China, as such we are taking a more pro-China line.
Wonder how much of the cut from the Chinese payment @setnaffa is handing over to @GIKorea.
