South Korea Agrees to Expanded Arms Export and Production Deal with UAE
It looks like this deal will allow South Korea via UAE to sell arms to Islamic militant groups in Africa that UAE is backing:

South Korea and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to work together to export defense equipment and nuclear reactors to third countries, marking a significant expansion beyond their fast-growing bilateral trade in these sectors. President Lee Jae Myung’s aides announced the agreement Tuesday during a briefing in Abu Dhabi, following a summit between the leaders of the two nations.
Kang Hoon-sik, presidential chief of staff, told reporters that the two countries will elevate their defense cooperation by jointly developing defense equipment, establishing a manufacturing base in the UAE and pursuing defense sales not only to the UAE’s Middle Eastern neighbors but also to countries in Africa, Europe and North America.
The plan will “increase the likelihood” of South Korean defense exporters securing deals in these regions, Kang said, noting that the potential value of such contracts could reach a combined $15 billion.

Well that’s a pretty negitive way to spin Korea’s contribution to reducing famine in Africa through regional partnerships achieving success in overpopulation reduction programs.
I see it as win-win-win.
Additionally, this enables a lot of countries to stock up on high quality equipment while maintaining their plausible denials of being more of setnaffa’s puppets, keeping the overall hegemony on the down low.
Just like vaccines are tested in Africa, it makes perfect sense to test military hardware as well.
Of course complex integrated digital systems are best tested with populations like Jews, Persians, and northeastern Europeans, but the basic hardware can be evaluated in conditions of frequent abuse, lack of cleaning or maintenance, incorrect operation, and exposure to a highly fecalized environment.
This is a big step for Korea to refine the quality of its weapons industry through lowest common denominator testing, much like when Samsing and Goldstar VCRs were tested via ghetto rent-to-own stores in the 1990s.
Good luck, Korea!
Wonder if @GIKorea would have said the same thing had his beloved Yoon made the deal.
Probably would have praised Yoon for opening new opportunities for Korean arms manufacturers, instead of the doom and gloom sentence above.
@Korean Person, this is actually smart of Korea to find another market for their weapons industry. I am just pointing out why UAE is likely buying these weapons.
