Reporters were waiting for Ms. Takaichi when one of them was caught on a live microphone saying, “I’ll lower your approval ratings” and “I’ll only put out photos that hurt your approval ratings.”
It really is impossible to have enough contempt for these pusillanimous commie sympathizers.

They are not commie sympathizers.
They are globalist sympathizers.
Globalists promise peace and prosparity by making everyone equal, interdependent, and cared for by government. Unlike communism, you may keep your surplus labor. That appeals to the same psychology that looked positively toward communism, perhaps even more, as there is no requirement to share.
But, like the empty promises of communism, globalism also lies to its admirers.
Globalism intends to make everyone equal debt slaves, dependent in every domain, and controlled by the unelected ruling elite through last-stage government. With neofeudalism, all surplus labor will be extracted through algorithmically optimized rents and subscriptions.
The self-identifying academic classes are attracted to these kinds of things because they believe it will only affect the lower uneducated classes and keep them properly controlled and where they belong.
Historical Rhyme: The academic classes supported the early Khmer Rouge until they realized there was only to be one class. This is the accelerating plan with globalism as there is now a clear pathway to replace much of this fake educated class with AI.
For a smaller scale real-world example, one need only look at the EU to see a population sold the same dream of peace and prosperity but delivered the nightmare of centralized unelected control, shrinking purchasing power, and erosion of security in all aspects of economy and society.
Bonus:
“Globalism is not communism” but they attract the same useful idiots and use the same playbook to gain power. Globalists and communists look the same to many smart but not fully aware people.
Also, in the downward transition of social and economic status for a lot of useless “educated” people, it is going to cost money. That money will come from the shrinking productive class that still manages to succeed despite all artificial roadblocks government and big corporations put in their way. That is going to look a lot like communism.

New boss same as old boss… They dropped the “international worker” meme because the current crop of “useful idiots” (as VI Lenin named them) don’t do actual “work”.
