U.S. Commerce Secretary Blasts Hyundai for Improper Visas

I can’t argue with anything Lutnick is saying. America wants your business just enter the country the right way because the Trump administration is enforcing immigration laws:

U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said Thursday that he had told Hyundai Motor Group to get the “right visa” and call him if it has visa problems, as he commented on its workers who were arrested in last week’s immigration raid at a Georgia battery plant construction site.

He made the remarks in an Axios interview, as 316 Korean workers headed back home in the morning following their release from a detention center in Folkston, Georgia, a week after their arrest in the raid at the site run by a joint Hyundai-LG Energy Solution venture in Bryan County near Savannah.

“I called up the Koreans, I said, oh, give me a break. Get the right visa and if you’re having problems getting the right visa, call me. I’ll call (Homeland Security Secretary) Kristi Noem,” he said during his appearance on the “Axios Show.”

“We’ll help you get the right visa, but don’t do it the wrong way. You can’t do things the old way. Donald Trump requires you to do it correctly,” he added.

The secretary said that the Korean workers detained in the raid came to the U.S. on tourist visas, emphasizing that Hyundai should have gotten them the “proper visa.”

“Hyundai is a total grown-up, more than capable of getting them the proper visa,” he said.

“Hyundai is a total grown-up, more than capable of getting them the proper visa,” he said.”

It is a pleasure to see the American government unafraid to directly speak the truth.

If the lefties don’t kill off everyone trying to make America great again, either figuratively or literally, there is more hope for America’s future than has existed for a long time.

On the other hand, after listening to lefties explain why people deserve to die for their opinion there are only 2 genders or why the 18-time caught-and-released black guy is the real victim, it seems that hope is only going to be actualized after removing the true insanity in society.

As the insanity grows, so does the attractiveness of a violent and irreversible purge.

The situation in a nutshell.

For convenience, , , Setnaffarians, and the MAGA crowd will be known as Gismaga.

Koreans: We invested in building factories in the U.S. because your government asked us to create jobs in struggling regions. But we need to send our technicians to install the equipment — Americans don’t know how to do it. What visa should we use?

Gismaga: H-1B!

Koreans: But there’s no quota for Koreans, and H-1Bs are given by lottery. Shouldn’t there be a special allocation for us? And since our technicians are only staying briefly to install, test, and train local staff, isn’t a B-1 enough?

Gismaga: Get the correct visa!

Koreans: But H-1Bs are lottery-based! We have deadlines to meet, and the technicians need to be there on time. Even some U.S. immigration officials say B-1 works for this.

Gismaga: Get the correct visa!

Koreans: Okay, let’s solve this. Do you have any good suggestions?

Gismaga: Get the correct visa!

Koreans: So… you’re basically saying you don’t want to help ensure our investment succeeds and your locals get jobs. Maybe we shouldn’t invest in the U.S. after all.

Gismaga: Get the correct visa!

Trump: Ignore them. We want Korea to invest, build the factories, and create jobs for my supporters. Do what you need to do — install the equipment and train our people.

“Hyundai is a total grown-up, more than capable of getting them the proper visa.”

This is an issue of subcontractors being too lazy to get proper visas for the Koreans and hiring ~140 local illegal aliens, most probably at local illegal alien prices.

Trump, America, and Gismaga are not even a part of this conversation.

This is between Hyndai and their cheep-charlie corner-cutting 8282 scofflaw subcontractor.

Not America’s problem.

None of those laws are secret.

None of the enforecment priorities are secret.

Not America’s business.
