60% of Koreans Believe Immigration Crackdown at Hyundai Plant was Excessive

So does this mean 6 in 10 Koreans would not mind 400 people from a foreign country showing up and constructing a building in Seoul on improper visas?:

A majority of Koreans said they were disappointed in the U.S. government following the recent mass detention of Korean workers at a battery plant in Georgia, a poll showed Tuesday.

According to a survey of more than 500 adults recently conducted by Realmeter, 59.2 percent of respondents said they view the immigration crackdown on Hyundai Motor Group-LG Energy Solution’s factory site as “excessive” and expressed disappointment with the Donald Trump administration’s actions. Only 30.7 found the measures “understandable and inevitable.”

Miss getting the money sent back by the criminal illegal immigrants. I find it offensive the Koreans think it is ok to work illegally in America and not expect America to enforce its laws.

Flyingsword, you just have to understand their special circumstances¹.

¹ Does anybody else miss all the old Koreanisms? Is that one still a thing?

Koreans would not mind 400 people from a foreign country showing up and constructing a building in Seoul on improper visas

Proof that is clueless:

In Korea, construction firms routinely hire foreign workers—mostly from SE Asia and the subcontinent—for manual labor. Why? Because Koreans avoid that kind of manual labor, and the Korean government issues the necessary visas to meet demand for manual labor.

When it comes to specialized machinery from foreign companies, they send their own experts, and again, Korea has no issue issuing the necessary visas.

Now compare that with Trump and the MAGA crowd: they demand billions in investment from South Korea, yet refuse to grant visas for the technicians needed to install Korean equipment in the U.S. factories.

If they won’t create conditions that make Korean investors comfortable, then naturally, investment will flow elsewhere.

I believe either didn’t read or refused to accept my comment below

The only explanation is that is deflecting and projecting. As per definition that makes him….a chinabot.

Odd that accepts money from Russia and China, but posts material attacking China.

I thought you were saying these were people doing work that Americans can’t do?

So , you are saying an American, especially those who live in MAGA country and is poorly educated, with no experience with and training on installing and maintaining the Korean made equipment for the battery factory, can do the job without training and experience?

99.999999% of Americans don’t care what Koreans think about American immigration enforcement on those who illegally take good jobs in factory construction away from Americans.

Korea Thing, you cannot win because there is nothing to win.

– illegal Koreans will be deported (including the ones who were true illegal aliens rather than temporary workers on the wrong visa)

– Public companies (by law) must be financially responsible so the factories will be completed

– Other companies will get out their calculators and decide if it is profitable to build a factory in America (it is) and then decide labor costs, potential fines, probability of getting caught, etc. They will make a decision on what to do. The first step will be to build a factory in America

– With feral blacks slitting whitegirl throat (while the left ignores it, then minimizes it, then shows pity and makes excuses for the feral black, and suddenly forgets to Stand with Ukraine) followed by yet another violent leftist trans shooter killing a popular and mild guy on the right while the left laughs, and even blames a fan firing off a gun in joy, MAGA is getting stronger and even recruiting the center-left eho does not understand the extreme left insanity being mainstream.

There is nothing you can do but sqwak about everybody here being on the Chinese payroll and other idiocy.

Every day when you wake up, look in the mirror and remeber how powerless you are and the daily erosion of you insane ideology.
