Nearly 90% of Korean Adults Have Received Their First COVID Shot

It took a while to get going, but once the infrastructure was in place South Korea has made quick gains getting their population the COVID vaccine:

Nine out of 10 South Korean adults have received at least one shot of COVID-19 vaccine, helping the country to get closer to a goal of creating herd immunity, the health authority said Tuesday.

A total of 39.7 million people have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, accounting for 77.4 percent of the country’s 51.3 million population or 90 percent of those aged over 18, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA).

The number of fully vaccinated people stood at 27.2 million, or 53 percent of the total or 61.6 percent of the adult population, the KDCA said.

Health authorities expressed optimism that the country will be able to fully inoculate over 70 percent of the population by the end of October thanks to people’s willingness to get vaccinations and smooth vaccine supplies

This may be true.

This may be a lie designed to exploit the bandwagon.

A clue lies in the second shot.

There are a LOT of unused doses.

While the government claims it is a very small percent, they are very concerned with people getting their first dose and not showing up for the second… more concerned than a small percent.

It seems too many people have had unpleasant side effects from the first shot and it is known that the second shot is generally worse.

Another driver is close social networks spreading anecdotal information about vaccine-induced death. The initial push got a lot of vaccine in play before the social networks started information sharing. Now there is some degree of hesitancy… very small if you listen to the government, much larger if you watch their alarm.

But who knows the truth.

For those of you who did as you were told and got your two shots based on an increasing stream of lies… and you are still wearing a poorly donned mask that does nothing… and you still comply with arbitrary curfews and restrictions that clearly have nothing to do with disease control, do you feel stupid now?

No?

You know why?

Because you are really, really stupid.

Yes, we now live in a dystopian world where the CDC Director defies her own experts and overrules the “expert panel” decision about the boosters.

This from a Biden administration who ran a campaign about “following the science”. How many times did we hear candidate Pedo1 say he was going to follow the science? And here we are.

Nothing about covid makes sense; there is nothing logical or rationale about the virus or these alleged mitigation strategies to stop it.

So quit trying to make sense of it. Recognize it for what it is, a propaganda war.

The endstate all along was always 100% vaccination.

The quicker everyone understands the endstate, then the quicker everyone will quit trying to make sense of the propaganda designed to get you there.

We can’t fix stupid; but some people may be starting to see through the disinformation. Three of the groups with the lowest vaccination rates in the US are a. Blacks, b. Hispanics, and c. those with advanced college degrees.

a. Blacks remember the Tuskegee Syphilis Study–and are justifiably skeptical of government telling them to get injections. In this case, their skepticism appears to be wisely informed.

b. Hispanics tend to be “based”, i.e. courageous and unique or not caring what others think. They are among the most self-reliant communities in America, not trusting or wholly relying on government to supply basic needs.

c. Well-educated people, aside from those whose self-identity collapsed “because Trump”, tend to look for all relevant details before making life-changing decisions, especially regarding their health care. They tend to like personal liberty, regardless of political party.

Perhaps we can learn from who supports and who opposes the jab?

In related news, Facebook’s Instagram is 11 years old today. They allegedly have over 1 Billion users, worldwide. No statistics on how many are vaccinated.
