Picture of the Day: Snow Capped Mt. Halla

This provided photo shows Baekrokdam Lake, which sits at the top of Mount Halla on South Korea’s largest island of Jeju, covered with snow on Dec. 18, 2020. The 1,950-meter dormant volcano, a UNESCO-designated world natural heritage site, is the highest peak in South Korea. (Yonhap)

Dormant….for now!
Jeju is where we had our “honeymoon”. I was still getting a ridiculous discount at the Shilla Hotel chain. The food was wonderful, we had a balcony overlooking the ocean, and the beach was a short walk. Jeju is really worth a visit next time you get a chance…
