Butcher of the Cheonan? Oh come on.
1. There is a war on.
2. The cause of the sinking is recognized as controversial, torpedo vs, mine. The US and its allies say torpedo, others say mine, still others like Donald Gregg says it’s an open question.
I don’t know how anyone cannot read the report put together by 5 nations investigating the Cheonan sinking and not conclude it was sunk by a North Korean torpedo. To think otherwise is like believing the moon landing was faked.

Physical evidence in the report shows that the damage to the Cheonan was the result of an underwater explosion with explosive residue and even parts of a North Korean torpedo recovered from the site. Interviews with crew members and coastal witnesses are consistent with a torpedo explosions as well.
The only people disputing this are leftists who also think the KAL 858 bombing was not committed by North Korea despite all the evidence including a witness who admitted to placing the bomb.
