Dr Kim Yun Sup, a dentist with an office near Scott AFB, IL was indicted for billing Illinois Medicaid $700,000 for procedures never performed.
From his FB page, it looks like he has two high school aged boys. I’m sure he was hoping to send them to college one day. Life for this family is about to drastically change for the worse.
My wife says: “Typical. Koreans love their money.”
Very sad for the family. Actually, I am also sad for the dentist who apparently got greedy and careless. Threw away all the hard work involved in becoming a dentist. Maybe he wasn’t good at being a dentist and needed more to pay the bills. Maybe he just wasn’t honest or smart. So many lost opportunities.
Sin turns us all into fools, when we let it. We all have moments when we did something we regret. This dentist and his family will regret what he did for a long time–maybe for the rest of their lives.
If sentenced to the maximum, he’s facing 140 years in prison plus millions in fines, not counting the restitution.
Just a sad case.

Should have done that embezzlement in Korea and receive a suspended sentence like most other criminals.
Children born to US service members and government employees overseas will no longer be automatically considered citizens of the United States, according to policy alert issued by US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on Wednesday.
Previously, children born to US citizen parents were considered to be “residing in the United States,” and therefore would be automatically given citizenship under Immigration and Nationality Act 320.
Now, children born to US service members and government employees, such as those born in US military hospitals or diplomatic facilities, will not be considered as residing in the US, changing the way that they potentially receive citizenship.
Really? Kids born to CPT Steve and Suzy Whitebread could end up as “not US Citizens” should the ever so easy to fill out paperwork get screwed up?
We’ve already seen Korean adoptees sent back because their adoptive parents screwed something up or didn’t take care of it at all.
Anyone want to look a little deeper into this? My kids were born at Tripler Army Medical Center, so they’re good to go, but there are a number of rug rats popped out every year at 121 or in town to service members and their spouses.

This severly impacts quality of life for all our overseas members. More BS on their plate to overcome. Think about it? Will our members put family first over dedicated support to our goverment and (?)leaders(?).
CH, there’s absolutely no evidence that six of Bill Clinton’s private security team entered Epstein’s cell and murdered him. It was a max of two.
And it wasn’t very original. Mission impossible must have had 20 episodes of the team defeating security cameras and other devices back in the 60s…

Factcheck has debunked the ‘nonfunctioning’ cameras story, CH.
We know Factcheck is right because they debunked the story on August 12th, and just this morning there’s an article about the FBI investigating the nonfunctioning cameras. Wow are they behind the times!

The Epstein situation has done a couple of good things.
1. Conspiracy theory is no longer pejorative.
2. Right and left and conservative and liberal and white and black have finally found something to share outrage over.
