I would like to take this opportunity to thank GI for the blog, where I often learn a lot about Korea.

And also for putting up with my frequent comments.

We may not agree on everything; but it is a joy to see new posts as they appear.

A bit early for the Thanksgiving holiday in the USA; but may you, GI, and yours prosper in health, wealth, and the sheer enjoyment of life.

Setnaffa, Christmas cheer is in two months.

This is October.

It is more appropriate to wish someone in a hockey mask would shank most of these people someplace dark where nobody can hear them scream.

In fact, that is probably the best thing that can happen to much of humanity right now… as they really need to learn to leave other people alone and keep their crazy to themselves.

Though in fairness, some of them have learned that everything they have been indignantly pushing off onto others has been a lie.

Nobody asks me “Why aren’t you vaccinated,” anymore.

They know.

I should explain my previous comment further.

Last week, I was involved in a discussion about digital currency.

Everybody was hot in the àss to go full digital and pay with their phones.

These people are all highly educated and smarter and more powerful than me… so I can’t kick them in the nuts.

But I can ask innocent question… like…

“So… I don’t know if you noticed but we just went through covid where governments enacted a lot of arbitrary and nonscientific restrictions having nothing to do with public health which ruined many honest lives and transferred a lot of wealth. Do you think it is wise to willingly give government and corporations the exact tool they need to enforce even more of this now that we know what they wish to do?”

My actual question was a lot more sly.

What I confirmed.

– Covid restrictions were not a problem for them. Most of them were not affected. They had quiet private parties and traveled unrestricted.

(The rules, as always, are only for Little People who watch the elites break all the rules they are required to follow. At most, their response is grumbling.)

– Their incomes mostly went up, since they have the intelligence, capital, and connections to adapt to changing circumstances better than normal people.

– They don’t believe electronic payments will affect them. While most people will have the bulk of their money in this system, because most people require the bulk of their money for daily living, they will have a tiny fraction of their money conveniently covering their daily lives. It is very easy to use and the threat of losing this miniscule amount of money has no hold over them.

– and governments don’t go after people like them anyway.

– and government restrictions don’t apply to them anyway.

– and they don’t care AT ALL if it affects little people like you. In fact, they support any system that keeps you all in line.

This list is longer.

So this reminds me most people need to be put to sleep…

…not them. They are taking care of themselves and their families in a corrupt system they adapt to rather than hopelessly trying to change.

No. It is all of you who need to be put to sleep.

You see what is happening yet you lie to yourselves about it. You ignore it, deny it, or embrace it.

Everyone saw what government will do… yet they beg for more… and for the government to have better tools to do it harder and deeper and with less lube.

If I ever get in the Big Club, that will be fine. I will watch all of you willingly destroy yourself with the same disgust they have when they look down on you.

But right now, I am not in this club and the rules of the little people apply to me.

And I don’t appreciate the little people begging for more rules.

So I am all for them getting shanked in a dark place where nobody can hear them scream if it keeps their ignorance and stupidity away from me.

Well, CH, you have discovered that History does not repeat itself… but it rhymes in iambic pentameter…

Look. Our job is not to be God. There is already one. And He alone is to be the Judge over others.

That frees us up to help those who can be helped and let those who refuse to be helped skip merrily down to “that Hell-bound train”.

Me, I’m just local color. I attempt to spread the Gospel (like Romans 6:23), tell lame jokes badly, feed my family, and be thankful for every day this side of the dirt.

I’m sorry you’ve had such a bitter experience. Yes, even Jesus said most folks are taking the aforementioned train; but I heard a phrase a while back that I am still trying to put into practice:

Illegitimi non carborundum

It’s supposed to mean don’t let the bastards grind you down.

There’s another phrase that means more to me.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21)

I wish I could adequately convey how liberating it was to go through multiple cancers, multiple rounds of unemployment, and finally realize everything would be okay because I can trust God like in Psalms 23 and Psalms 91.

That’s the funniest comment in this forum I’ve seen so far. What does a GI running a US-oriented right-wing fascist site know anything about Korea? It’s funnier considering who is the one who made this thank you comment.

And of course, GI Korea will never show an article like this which goes against his narrative. America’s hand-picked man Yoon is good for America and that’s all that matters to him.

South Korean officials take offence at anti-Yoon cartoon weeks after his UN ‘freedom’ speech

  • Authorities threaten sanctions against organisers of cartoon contest for allowing President Yoon Suk-yeol to be lampooned
  • Cartoon with Yoon’s face on a Thomas the Tank Engine-like locomotive apparently satirises accusations his wife has wielded undue influence over government

I appreciate this site too, GI. Thank you!

On CH’s topic of “little people”, PayPal changed its user agreement (“acceptable use policy”) to penalize the spread of “misinformation”. It would fine members up to 2500 dollars for posting something online they believed to be in the category of misinformation/hate speech/et al.
I read that this morning on twitter, went to the PayPal website to confirm authenticity, saw that yes indeed it was true and promptly deleted my account.
I must not have been the only one because they have now rescinded and claim it was “unfortunate wording”. The unfortunate wording included this bit:
“We encourage you to report violations of this Acceptable Use Policy to PayPal immediately.”

Yeah. All just unfortunate wording. Nothing to see here.
This is what happens when ivory tower loonies run management. Probably had something to do with ESG too.

Note to all:

Private companies can (for the most part) do as they please (rightfully so).

The constitution is only an agreement between government and citizens.

Bonus: all that stuff in that is unconstitutional for the government to get involved in is perfectly OK if you make an agreement with a private company and the results are sold to government.

Have any of you actually read rhe EULA before clicking AGREE?

Yeah… thought not, little people.

George Armstrong Custer was obviously a flawed Cavalry leader. But once he signed up, he showed up.

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of books written about him, all based on opinions, surmise, and conjecture. Because he showed up.

To paraphrase a line from the 1939 version of The Four Feathers, I can understand nerves before a fight; but I cannot and will not understand someone signing up to fight and then making every excuse to get out of it. There’s no room for people like that.

Some of you may know the case I’m talking about; but that’s not the point.

The point is that we, as human beings, need to be “as good as our word”. When we promise to do something, or be somewhere, or any other promise, we need to keep it. Period.

Have blessed weekend and a blessed Columbus day on Monday or Wednesday, whenever and however you celebrate it. Or don’t celebrate it. Have a blessed week anyway!

I will. I promise!

Korean Man, that’s nothing new. The US has always supported despot regimes around the world as long as they support the US interests. Look how the US is profiting from the current European conflict. Buying Indian oil (which is Russian oil) to sell to Europe, for triple the original price, and then undermining the $70 billion France-Australia sub deal so that their American firms can cut a deal instead. These are just two good examples. All this turmoil in the world has been good business for the US. It’s all about keeping America’s hegemony. China is a problem, yes, but America is also a bigger problem for the world.

ChickenHead

Why would anybody downvote EuroTrash?

He spoke nothing but truth there.

America is profiting from trouble all over the world.

This would not be a problem if the intention was to bring prosperity to Amricans.

But this is not the case. Any prosperity is incidental.

There is no America First in any of this.

America, with it currency/military/etc, is just a tool of the multinational corporations which find America to be a better tool than any other country.

This is not a problem to solve. It is a situation to manage. This would be good for Americans if they recognized the situation and demanded this be a team effort… and America got a cut of the action instead of being looted.

Instead, perhaps as early as next year, the biggest expense in the American budget will be interest on the national debt.

Think about that as you drive over the same pothole every day on your way to work.

Perhaps the multinationals will move on… but there is no place to go.

So this needs to be reset… a Great Reset, if you will.

And the best way to reset is World War.

The 20s are going to roar again.

It has been really interesting how easily people have been manipulated to become medical test subjects in an experiment fully expected to fail.

…as the real experiment is not how well the vaccine works…

…but how badly it doesn’t work.

(mRNA is amazing technology that can be used to do amazing things, with the right intentions, but it is going to require a lot of research to develop. That research is ongoing.)

Anyway, leveraging the desire to virtue signal is one of so many tricks used to make the ignorant and petty public stand in line to get tested on… and then scold others who have any skepticism.

… though my favorite is targeting children through the Marval Universe…

…not all heroes wear capes but they get the vaccine.

Brilliant on every level.

Lazy parents can only endure their kids pestering to be heroes for so long… even if they rationally know covid poses zero danger to their children but the vaccine has a fully established non-zero danger.

These kids really need to die… not because of the kids, who are innocent in all this… but because the parents don’t need to reproduce.

I really am beginning to think like the Ruling Elite… the rich and powerful pushing self-destructive programs on all you Little People who can’t wait to gobble it all up.

You can probably understand why they hate and resent you.

I hate and reset you.

…not because you are stupid by nature and ignorant by choice… but because you tried for several years to push your stupidity and ignorance off on me.

Don’t forget your 4th or 5th shot of Two Shots and Back to Normal.

Protip: I am no longer going to call it the Shot or the cutesy Jab. From now on, it is the Prìck.

Have you taken the Prìck?

You know you have.

Eurotrash, totally agree with one exception.

It’s all about keeping America’s hegemony.

Yes, that’s one, but not all of their goal. The US is exporting its financial problems and its inflation brought on by the obscene amount of money that it printed. Now the American government wants to make the rest of the world pay for America’s excesses. The Americans have an arrogance that the rest of the world will continue to back the US dollars, but I’m not so sure that the world will continue to put up with their shenanigans after the latest US backstabbings did to their allies – the same allies that allow the US to print money out of thin air. The US is going to lose all its friends and no one will be wanting (or let’s say, will be in the mood) to cooperate with the US on any geopolitical issues. There are many countries that will financially collapse, and there will be increasing calls from the traditional US allies to review the gaming of the world’s economic system by the US to get unlimited financial power when it doesn’t deserve it. There will be growing calls from within the US allied countries that the global US dollar-based reserve currency system must be ended. Prior to the Russian war, only Russia, China, and some other oil-rich countries wanted this. Now that many former US allies that backed the US currency will think twice about a system that is now weaponized against them by a selfish hostile US government.

The US is taking advantage of the war in Europe, and it’s sickening to see how they are exploiting it. The EU should end this war now, negotiate with Russia, and give Russia a way out of the terrible mistake Putin has created. All sides should go back to where they were before Feb of this year, and EU should end the sanctions, including going back to buying Russian energy. The only ones who are profiting from this war are the Americans who are selling to Europe, the natural gas, seven times the regular price. That is not how any country treats its friends.

That’s odd.

EuroTrash agreed with himself…

….except for one exception, of course.

Or is it stupidity AND mental illness?

Do we care?

If we ignore it, will it go away?

Like I said, Chinabot.

Ah yes, more “Chinabot”.

In Korea, the right wingers favorite way of dismissing those who don’t agree with them and see their point of view is to call them “Commies” and “Reds”.

You see the right wingers here don’t have much in the way of brainpower and don’t know how to counter the argue points made by the other side.

So as an attempt to dismiss those opposing points and discredit the people making those points, they call them “Commies ” and “Reds”.

That way the right wingers hope that other people will think “Oh they are commies, we shouldn’t listen to them” and hopefully negate those points.

But of course, people are too smart to buy into that and at the end it is the right wingers who look stupid and out of touch with reality.

Like our dear setnaffa.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank GI for the blog, where I often learn a lot about Korea.

I believe this is what Americans call “ass kissing”.

You see our Setnaffarist friend and his followers need a platform to spread their message or at least rant about their vaccine envy.

And for some reason they feel that the ROK Drop is the perfect platform for that.

So it is in their interest or his interest to ensure that GIKorea keeps his blog open.

And what better way than a feel good comment here and there.

But at the end day those comments do little to hide the fact that this blog is irrelavant.

As pointed out by TOK, GIKorea does not speak a word of Korean, which means he will miss out on the Korean newspapers who provide a more comprehensive view of how things are going on in Korea.

That and the fact that he does not live here.

How can he gauge on the atmosphere and know how things are turning out?

We have a guy looking outside in with a shallow understanding of Korea and no understanding of the language and culture running a blog about Korea.

He also cares more about the joint ROK-US military exercises than the overall wellbeing of Korea and Koreans and as a result will support an incompetent conservative government if that helps him achieve his interests.

Korean Man put it all in one sentence;

What does a GI running a US-oriented right-wing fascist site know anything about Korea?

It’s really pathetic, CH. It’s like there’s only one guy who hates the ‘Drop — and he just can’t “MoveOn”.

Like the only contact he has with other humans is the humiliation of defending murderers of tens of millions of their fellow travelers (like what Mao and Stalin did to China and Russia).

I really wish he could find meaning and value in his life, instead of being a psychologically shriveled and emotionally desicated neo-troglodyte.

Maybe if he had been able to achieve normal relations with others as he was growing up, joined a sports team, developed romantic relationships with girls his own age…

But now, all he has is oozing corruption, hatred for himself, and a vocabulary of out-dated “dialectical materialism” that even the North Koreans would mock.

That’s why I name him Chinabot.

If South Korea want to know why they’re now suffering a trade deficit with China (instead of a traditional surplus), look no further:

Semiconductor exports to China in particular increased more than 160 times in the past three decades, with the export value standing at $162.9 billion in 2021, accounting for 39.7 percent of South Korea’s chip exports, according to the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).

However, due to the US’ chip ban on China, South Korea’s first-half exports of chips and equipment to China fell 52 percent, according to media reports.

https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202210/1276936.shtml

South Korea can thank the US for destroying all of South Korea’s export markets one by one, while the US takes over South Korea’s customers. The US chip maker Micron technology, despite having manufacturing plants in China, is given massive subsidies by the US government, while Samsung and Hynix of Korea who were both fooled into spending $30 billion setting up manufacturing centers in the US with promises of massive subsidies are both shut out of US government subsidies. They are banned from selling chips to China, yet Micron is given complete freedom to sell its chips to China. At the same time, Apple is giving China’s YMTC chip making company a big hand by buying YMTC SSD storage chips for the upcoming iPhones – again with no US government restrictions. Why there’s no Samsung in China? Remember THAAD in 2016? Samsung smartphones were kicked out of China due to the US installing THAAD in Korea. What did the US do? They just let Apple take over all of Samsung’s smartphone business in China, and tried to blackmail South Korea with demands of $5 billion a year more for hosting US troops.

So what is the summary of what the US is doing to Korea?

Korea, you’re banned from doing any business with China. We’ll just take your business from you, and we will be the ones to profit, not you. Very good friends, indeed. Look around the globe and see the very poor conditions of all the US allies right now. This should make countries think twice and three times about cooperating and agreeing with the US at the expense of their own self interests.

A rare insight into the mind of Setnaffa, thanks in part to his recent comment.

Let’s see

It’s really pathetic, CH. It’s like there’s only one guy who hates the ‘Drop — and he just can’t “MoveOn”.

We know setnaffa can’t seem to ‘Move On” and keeps rambling about vaccines and Covid-19, when it fact the world is moving away from the subject.

I think in a way he wants to “Move On’, but something is holding him back and this may be a cry for help.

Like the only contact he has with other humans is the humiliation of defending murderers of tens of millions of their fellow travelers (like what Mao and Stalin did to China and Russia).

We know setnaffa has no contact wih other humans. If he did, he wouldn’t be spending the entire day posting fake news about vaccines and other right wing crap.

I really wish he could find meaning and value in his life, instead of being a psychologically shriveled and emotionally desicated neo-troglodyte.

Yes, setnaffa, we know you want to find meaning and value in your life.

Maybe if he had been able to achieve normal relations with others as he was growing up, joined a sports team, developed romantic relationships with girls his own age…

As I said, had he had contact with other human beings, he would have had normal relations with others and may be not spend all his free time here and have a normal life.

But now, all he has is oozing corruption, hatred for himself, and a vocabulary of out-dated “dialectical materialism” that even the North Koreans would mock.

Setnaffa has his unique and predictable vocabulary when he comments here especially on matters that involve people not agreeing with his idealogy and thoughts.

I believe an example can be seen below;

That’s why I name him Chinabot.

Only a follower of Winnie the XI could be that bad at this easy a job.

Well, setnaffa is a huge follower of Vladimir Putin, and Xi Jinping is providing support via his Russian partner. Although we know he doesn’t want to admit that openly, no doubt he wants to cry out loud,

“I love Putin!’

Case in point. His acceptance of Russian BS regarding Ukraine.

Anyways from his comment which shows his mental state, the dude needs serious mental help.

“We know setnaffa can’t seem to ‘Move On” and keeps rambling about vaccines and Covid-19, when it fact the world is moving away from the subject.”

The world wants to move away from it… because it is becoming clear the world never should have been close to it to begin with.

But the world cannot move away from the punishment phase.

At the very least, masking and distancing has created a generation of social retards who never developed the subconscious skills normal children develop during their early years of brain placicity. There will be a clever name for this generation. I am going to put thought into this.

Much of the reduction in global lifestyle (for the Little People) is related to how close they were to covid.

Hunger and cold in the third world is related to how close the first world stood to covid. There might be a bit of hunger and cold in the first world because of it too.

Let’s see if there is a health component to the punishment phase. Everything indicates there will be.

The world may want to move away from covid… but it won’t be able to for a while.

…and, it is starting to appear the vaxxed get covid more than the unvaxxed… with worse outcomes… good luck moving on from that, vaxtards.

Stay Safe & Effective.

ChickenHead

Setnaffa, there is a lot of unpleasant truth about the failed vaccines that would come out if anyone really wanted to know.

Bring in everyone and put them under oath with the clear intention to jail anyone caught lying and forgive the first wave of rats.

Then ask the difficult questions… that anyone aware of how the world works already knew the answers to for the last couple of years.

There would be a line of millionaire CEOs ready to sell their mothers to maintain their freedom and lifestyle.

But for this to happen, somebody needs to want to know the truth.

And that will only happen when the political benefits of the truth are greater than the political benefits of the current narrative.

Maybe.

If you feel like watching an uplifting video, here is one for you!

https://twitter.com/LeeLee317/status/1578032093891698688?s=19

I mean who doesn’t like to watch videos of heart inflamation brought on by vaccine spike proteins, that don’t “stay in the arm” or “disintegrate within days” binding to ACE2 receptors in children’s hearts?

Is it true? Don’t know.

Anybody ever see an ad on TV for pediatric heart inflamation before the vaccine?

No? Me neither. Makes you wonder… at least if you are a rational person trying to make a coherent framework of reality based on the observation you make.

So let’s look up some information on this rare heart inflamation they keep talking about.

Turns out, it is no problem. It is mild and goes away on its own without treatment. At least in “many cases”. Various fact checkers assure me of this.

Let’s look at some research papers prior to 2019.

Oh dear.

They say it is a bit of a problem. In a lot of people, the inflamation leads to scaring that reduces the function of the heart and lowers the 10 year survival rate. What is that number? Nooo… that can’t be right. Hmmm. This other research paper says kinda the same thing.

Before the vaccine, ALL heart issues required immediate medical attention. After the vaccine, kids are told to just walk it off.

This kind of thing is ALL intelligent people should be talking about until it is discredited with facts or the probable outcomes are predicted and planned for.

But no.

Everyone wants to “move past covid” and talk about how Russia has been out of ammo next month since March.

Let’s talk about that next.

ChickenHead
ChickenHead

Anybody get their calculator out and realize that Russia didn’t destroy Ukraine’s electrical production?

Then what did they do?

Best I can tell, they destroyed Ukraine’s excess electrical production.

This means:

– the people of Ukraine aren’t going to be terribly affected

– there are still more rungs on the Ladder of Escalation

– all that excess electricity that Ukraine was selling to Europe is getting cut off

It will be an interesting experience to watch Europe deindustrialize this winter…

…short on gas because they made enemies out of their supplier

…short on electricity due to the madness of fake green policies

But probably nobody deserves this more than sniveling little Eurotrash. That should wipe the smug look right off their pinched little faces.

Putin and Xi and whoever controls America had to have worked this out in advance when the agreement was made who was going to suffer when the financial system no longer functioned.

“OK, Putin, you get to keep all that prime real estate in Ukraine. We get to trade our energy for European labor to prop up the dollar. Xi, you said you wanted Taiwan? Got it. We will fill the American military so full of hippies and trannies they won’t know which way to point the missiles.”

Why does Chinabot think I care about Yoon asking for advice?

Ah yes, more denial and looking the other way from setnffa.

setnaffa never surprises me.

For the sake of reminding setnaffa, let it be known, that setnaffa has for a long time opposed giving South Korea access to a nuclear deterrent.

The Koreans of the ROK Drop on the other hand have called for South Korea to have a nuclear deterrent because of the North Korean nuclear threat, the PRC, and of course the possibility that the US won’t always have our back.

How can we be “Chinabots”, when we favor Korea having a strong independent defence posture?

Only someone paid by the Russians and Chinese, like setnaffa, would call for Korea to be weak and dependent on the US for its defense.

And considering that setnaffa supports Yoon, it is no surprise that setnaffa is pretending that he did not advocate what he advocated, because Yoon is thinking of doing something that setnaffa was opposed to.
