There are, sadly, many people in the West who believe the propaganda from every tinhorn dictator that slithers out from under a rock or pile of compost. They’ve lost their reason and are drifting as though lost in the fog without a rudder or even an external point of reference.
Solzhenitsyn wrote very well about the Soviet system–and should be required reading to graduate from high school.
Orwell did a masterful job of mocking Stalin in “Animal Farm” and “1984”, though the latter was harder to get through than Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged” (which was not a casual task).
No, I am not saying any human system is inerrant. Quite the opposite.
Meanwhile, those who reject God will eventually be found to be “victims” of Romans 1:22, because that’s the way God’s universe rolls…
