General Paik passed today. May God rest his soul. A true Korean patriot gone.

Cotton-tailed rats only taste like chicken if they’re fed right and cooked right ..

Otheise, they taste like fish that “went off”…

I tend to blame Beijing for this. Along with their puppets in Pyonmgyang and Seoul.

Glad the airman (or former airman) is safe.

We had a fellow (back in the early ’90s) who went “awol” from our (civilian) joint-venture. Seems he’d found a girlfriend and “went nuts” (sort of a psychotic-level of what some call “yellow fever”). Left job, wife, everything. The police eventually found him and he reconciled, sort-of, with everyone. I think he ended up staying in Korea. I hope he got help with his alcohol issues. They didn’t let us wander quite as freely after that. For some reason.

No, I know nothing about the formerly-missing airman. I was just reminded of a story from long ago.
