North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has expressed his “bitter sorrow” after dozens of Chinese tourists were killed when a bus they were travelling in plunged off a bridge.
Thirty-two Chinese tourists and four North Koreans perished in the accident south of Pyongyang Sunday night, Chinese officials and state media said. Two other Chinese nationals were injured.
Kim was later seen cosplaying a doctor and speaking with two of the victims at the hospital.
Considering North Korea has a long history of pretending nothing ever goes wrong, I’m surprised this actually made the news outside of the immediate area.

Adm. Harry Harris, the commander of U.S. forces in the Pacific, will become the next U.S. ambassador to South Korea instead of Australia, the Australian foreign minister said Wednesday.
That’s a surprise.

Re: Adm. Harry Harris becoming to next ambassador to South Korea. I hope the Koreans don’t hold his Japanese heritage against him if he doesn’t get as animated about the East Sea, Dokdo and Comfort Women as they would like.

Right now the Chinese are the chief race-baiters as regards the Admiral. Those who join that chant will be self-identifying as paid or unpaid agents of Beijing.
