Still New Year’s Eve here in the States, but I wish all my fellow ROKHeads a Happy and Prosperous New Year!

Hope to make my way back to The Land of the Morning Calm within two-three years.

Weird thing for us is that it is less “off” doing New Year’s in the RoK than it is here on the West Coast. Everyone have a `Droppin New Year! 😎

A little after 10PM on New Years Eve (Texas time), setnaffa wished all of you a blessed and prosperous 2018. Please make it so.

Kind wishes to all.

Does anyone know where one could look up the US units in Korea in the post-war years? Specifically, 1954 and 1955.

Thanks!!

As long as I’m less interesting to my oncologists, I’m ready for it!

It’s spelled Oncolongist and we don’t want to know about your butt. 😛

A friend of ours found a half sister he never knew he had from one of those tests. His dad had passed, but had an affair with a subordinate sometime when he was in the army (about fifty years prior).

Sorry to disappoint you, Smokey, it really was the upper cheeks, not the lower…

And since when did you turn grammar nazi?

Anyway, last visit the doctors were out and I met with their PAs, so that’s encouraging.

In the meantime, I expect all of you over there to enjoy April and the cherry blossoms for me.

I’m not a Nazi. That was the correct spelling. I made up Oncolongist. 😛

LOL. I fat-finger stuff all the time so I wasn’t sure… and too lazy to look it up.

Maybe GI could host a party for all of us one day and maybe the CINC will let me buy a few of you a “Seasonally-Appropriate Beverage”.

Liz, that might almost be the Rush Limbaugh Effect, too. Because he really put the spotlight on the Clinton Crime Family.

Not that I’m a fat of Rush; but the guys at work talked about his radio show a lot back then.

“Not that I’m a fat of Rush..”
Freudian slip there? 😆

LOL. Yeah. Rush and I both need a diet.

But I don’t have time for any of the talking heads on radio or tv.

Rush’s main value to me was in teasing liberal colleagues at work. For example, I modified a “Texans for Bush” bumper sticker to say “Texans for Rush”. It was great fun sor a month or so. Then I added a (band) Rush CD to the desk to defuse any remainjng tensions.

However, Rush did a bigger service to America by shining the light on Democrats the way it normally shines on Republicans. As boyh parties have dirt, it’s a good idea to keep the light on all the time.
