China Makes Latest Threat Against THAAD Deployment
Instead of making threats about the THAAD deployment how about Beijing do something about the Kim regime that is the reason for it being in South Korea in the first place?:
China on Tuesday warned of stern measures against the ongoing deployment of an advanced U.S. missile defense system in South Korea.
“China calls for an immediate stop to the THAAD deployment on the Korean Peninsula,” China’s foreign ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said during a regular press briefing.
“China will pursue protecting its interests going forward by taking the necessary measures in a stern manner.”
He was speaking in response to the U.S.’ announcement that the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense battery being installed on a former golf course in the southern county of Seongju is “operational and has the ability to intercept North Korean missiles and defend” South Korea. [Yonhap]

The Communist Red Chinese will use Trump to there advantage, they are the back bone of the dictatorship of Kim Jong Un. They are playing with the United States. There is no pressure from the red Chinese on North Korea. They are working together.

Maybe. Who cares?
Trump has been pretty clear. It would be nice if the Chinese would help solve the problem… but it isn’t necessary. America has the means, motive, and opportunity to solve it… thought it would be potentially messy for everyone in the area… less so for America.
I sympathize with that strategy. If I have a problem, I just make it everyone else’s problem. Oh, they might whine around and blame me… but it is amazing how quickly everyone works to solve the problem when they get to own some of it. If you make that a habit, people start going slightly out of their way to insure you don’t have any problems that you might push off on them. Life gets easier.
Anyway…
So far, North Korea has not had a nuclear test. That is the goal. China might be working toward this or working against it. It doesn’t matter. Whatever the case, Trump is succeeding in achieving the goal.
If North Korea has a nuclear test and Trump whines around doing nothing with his thumb up his arse while blaming China, I will reverse my opinion.
But as long as there are no nuclear test (or successful missile tests) or if Trump has an effective punishing response to North Korean action, there is no reason to complain.
Well, a big part of the equation is testing the West. Some part of it may be that the Red Chinese are toothless old women who cannot control North Korea.
Time will tell.
