A truly self- driving “Korean” car, would go through red lights, not stop at stop-signs, cut in from of other cars, etc, etc.. And best of all there, is no one to fight if someone has road rage, 😛
All of which are reasons I have used internally to justify taking a taxi, bus, or subway in the company of Korean friends/family instead of being a target-rich environment (all three brothers-in-law offered to loan me a car last time I was in Korea; but I politely declined due to not holding an international driver’s license). Wife also wanted to avoid the hassle.
