Olympians Kim Yu-na and Son Yeon-jae Caught Up In South Korean Political Scandal

Considering Kim Yu-na’s much higher profile of being a well known Olympic champion I think it was much easier for her to say no to the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism compared to lower profile athletes like Son Yeon-jae who netizens are now angered with:

Rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae acknowledges spectators on the podium after winning the gold medal in the hoop event at the 7th Asian Gymnastics Championships at a university gym in Jecheon, North Chungcheong Province, central South Korea, on June 12, 2015. (Yonhap)

Suspicion is rising that the government disadvantaged Olympic champion figure skater Kim Yu-na because she would not cooperate with the scandal-ridden manipulative ties of President Park Geun-hye.

KBS TV reported Saturday that Kim had been on Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism blacklist for turning down a ministry invitation to attend a public trial of “Neulpum calisthenics” in 2014.

The exercise routine was developed by Cha Eun-taek, a commercial director and close acquaintance of the president’s confidant Choi Soon-sil. (……)

Meanwhile, Son Yeon-jae’s agency Galaxia SM website has crashed under high traffic volumes on Sunday evening, as the suspicion spilled over to Son, whom netizens suspect to have benefited from the minsitry for complying with the invitation. [Korea Times]

Ok Kim Yuna technically can use the title Olympian despite my feelings on sports and the Olympics in general but Son Yeonjae no, no noooo….. NO. 👿

Her “achievements” read like a list of “5h1t I competed for because I have no shot at the Olympics”. Besides the F kind of “sport” is rhythmic dancing? We all know it’s code for “event designed by pedos and old fat copter moms”. ❓

So based on this “article” could I fund Joe Gatto’s drive for gold by having him get citizenship in some crap a55 country that usually doesn’t even bother trying for said event and have him perform this?

He’d be an Olympian then right? 🙄

F’ing.. sports… god I hate sports… 😡

Smokes, you forgot to put some hate on those who follow sports…

…as they are the enablers.

Politics and war are real sports… but too difficult for most to follow…

…so they get things like dancing and jumping around and other assorted organized grabazz to fill their empty hours.

…while those engaged in politics and war giggle as they push taxpayer-subsidized sports onto the ignorant masses and continue on doing things against everyone’s but their own interest.

This is why we can’t have nice things…

…unless a shiny new football stadium surrounded by crumbling roads and decaying neighborhoods is a nice thing.

Oh dear Head O’ Chicken. All my hate in regards to sports is to those who follow it.

Case in point; Colin Kaepernick signed a 6 year, $114,000,000 contract with the San Francisco 49ers, including a $12,328,766 signing bonus, $61,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $19,000,000. To play a game.

Do I hate him? Nah, he’s just the face of the problem. Here are the real problem:

So GD pathetic, the amount of time and money these drubs waste on the basest form of modern entertainment in the US. It’s because of these lemmings that someone can make an obscene amount of money to play a game. A game that gives nothing in comparison to what it takes.

There are so many facets to why sports beyond casual completely informal events is a cancer on life that to even have to bring it up as hindsight shows as a people we’re really still not deserving of being anything more than pleebs.

“Sports becomes a problem only when people put too much value in it ”
We’re well beyond that benchmark:

“spend enormous amounts of money they don’t have to attend games and buy merchandise”
Again conquered:

Sports is a lousy way to teach anything other than becoming a rapist or whatnot:

First off it’s entertainment, not sports. Take away the spectator aspect of sports and it’d have the ranks and following of a professional Dungeons and Dragons league. What point is there in it beyond entertaining? The health aspect of it is a joke by the way considering injury rates, pro league refusal to address long term issues, and the absolute stupid mentality coaches, teams, and leagues push of “playing through the pain”.

Sports is best used for one thing, as a way to get children to exercise. Children. Not teens or adults, kids in grade school who need to have a fun way of doing things to get them into it. Once out of middle school Phy Ed should more closely resemble a PT session rather than what it does now.

Bottom line, physical competition should be the stuff of the ancient world performed by the ignorant to thrill the masses in order to keep them from noticing how the entitled are screwing them over.

In short: F sports. Hard and dry until it bleeds and then again until the blood dries.
