Ex-GOPer Accused Of Threatening Wife Says Cough Medicine Made Him ‘Erratic’

But was cough syrup responsible when Kincannon went on a Twitter rant against a man who lost his son because of guns? Or the time he celebrated the death of Michael Brown?
http://www.alan.com/2014/05/26/todd-kincannon-baby-with-razor-blade/

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/todd-kincannon-domestic-incident-cough-medicine
“A former official with the South Carolina Republican Party said an improper dose of cough medicine was to blame for … my behavior was way out of … GOP…

Todd Kincannon(former Executive Director of the South Carolina Republican Party) denied both grabbing his wife and threatening to kill himself, according to the report. A sheriff’s department spokesman told the newspaper that Kincannon was ultimately not arrested or charged with any crime.
Kincannon later told the Charleston City Paper that the dispute happened because he’d taken an improper dose of Benzonatate, a medicine he’d been prescribed to treat a cough.
“Basically, I went completely crazy after taking it,” he told the newspaper. “I don’t even remember all of it. My wife called 911 because she was worried about me and my behavior was way out of character and erratic, and she was afraid for her safety and mine.”
Kincannon is best known for his incendiary comments on Twitter, including calling House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) a “crabby cunt” back in 2011. He drew attention to himself as recently as last fall by suggesting anyone who contracted the Ebola virus be executed. The former GOP official no longer appears to have a Twitter account, however.”

GOP AZ Senator Sylvia Allen wants a ‘moral rebirth of this country’ and suggested lawmakers should debate forcing people to attend church services once a week.

Would the Catholic church forgive me if I didn’t attend? Answer: Yes, by going to confession.

Would S. Korean Protestants and Presbyterians do the same? Answer: NO! Hence, they say Catholics aren’t Christians.

S. Korean preachers would say that anyone who doesn’t attend church twice a week(including Wednesday nights) deserve to be hit by a tsunami(Indian Ocean Tsunami 2004) etc…

What would S. Korean pedo-priests/preachers say?
http://www.alan.com/2015/03/29/arizona-lawmaker-wants-law-mandating-church-attendance/
“Oh, and Allen thinks the Earth is 6,000 years old and recently promoted the conspiracy conspiracy that Agenda 21 is replacing the Constitution as some sort of evil commie takeover.

Let’s not discuss gun violence, but instead force people to go to church. That’ll solve the problem. You know who else would love this idea? ISIS.

What would be the punishment for not attending church services? Acid thrown the faces of atheists or a public flogging perhaps?”

EGGHEAD could become rich in his LAST weekly position in line(eating human excrement) of his formed “Human Centipede.”
http://www.medicaldaily.com/gold-your-poop-scientists-claim-millions-dollars-metals-can-be-found-human-feces-327224
“It’s possible there’s gold in your poop, according to a group of scientists with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Millions of dollars in it.
In addition to the food we eat, human waste contains a variety of metals and minerals — including gold, copper, and silver, which find their way into waste through beauty products, detergents, and other products. In their study, the researchers measured the amount of gold in human waste product, and found that they were at the “level of a minimal mineral deposit,” Kathleen Smith, a USGS geologist who worked on the study, said. This means that if those levels were found in rock, they’d be considered a possible mining prospect.”

Only 16 GOP senators vote for sick leave while ALL democrats did.
‘In surprise show of support, filibuster-proof Senate majority backs paid sick leave
If passed, the Healthy Families Act would be the first meaningful expansion of federal time-off requirements since 1993.’
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2015/03/26/in-surprise-show-of-support-filibuster-proof-senate-majority-backs-paid-sick-leave/
“Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and
Sen. Marco Rubio all opposed the Murray amendment. Coincidentally, these senators are all considering running for president in the upcoming 2016 election, notes Bloomberg Politics.

Hillary Clinton, the current leading candidate for the Democratic Party, has supported the idea of paid family leave in the past for new mothers to ensure women’s equality in the workforce.”

‘FEMA Is Withholding Funds From Climate Change-Denying(GOP) Governors’

Why? Because they can’t find it within themselves(and gov. documents) to say the words… “Climate Change” and therefore won’t accept and provide a “climate change plan” to FEMA.

Can’t stop laughing: Atmospheric re-employment is the climate change safe word in Tallahassee [video]
http://www.orlandoweekly.com/Blogs/archives/2015/03/24/cant-stop-laughing-atmospheric-re-employment-is-the-climate-change-safe-word-in-tallahassee-video
Florida is just one of many STUPID GOP states.

“Following some back and forth between Koon and State Senator Jeff Clemens (D), Clemens asked Koon if it is true that states need to have “climate change plans” to qualify for that federal money.

Koon agreed, saying it required “language to that effect.”

“I used ‘climate change,’” Clemens replied, “but I’m suggesting that maybe as a state, we use the term ‘atmospheric reemployment.’ That might be something that the governor could get behind.”

(HYSTERICAL LAUGHTER)

As fellow senators and spectators laughed, Clemens and Koon continued on, with Koon once again avoiding saying “climate change”, stating the state’s mitigation plan required “language discussing that issue.”

“What issue is that?” Clemens asked.

“The issue you mentioned earlier,” Koon replied as the senate panel broke into laughter at his obvious discomfort.

(MORE HYSTERICAL LAUGHTER)”

Leon will…enjoy this as will setnaffa…the difference?…setnaffa will agree…
Duck Dynasty reality star does it again…
http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/week-god-32815
Robertson has remained a notable figure in conservative circles – his recent CPAC appearance raised eyebrows, and just this week he received continued support from Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) – but it was the reality star’s remarks at a Vero Beach Prayer Breakfast that put Robertson back in the national spotlight.
…Robertson offered gruesome details about how an atheist father would react to watching intruders behead his wife and rape and kill his two daughters while they also cut off his penis …. which would supposedly somehow prove a point about following God’s laws.

“I’ll make a bet with you,” Robertson said. “Two guys break into an atheist’s home. He has a little atheist wife and two little atheist daughters. Two guys break into his home and tie him up in a chair and gag him. And then they take his two daughters in front of him and rape both of them and then shoot them and they take his wife and then decapitate her head off in front of him. And then they can look at him and say, ‘Isn’t it great that I don’t have to worry about being judged? Isn’t it great that there’s nothing wrong with this? There’s no right or wrong, now is it dude?’”

Robertson kept going: “Then you take a sharp knife and take his manhood and hold it in front of him and say, ‘Wouldn’t it be something if this [sic] was something wrong with this? But you’re the one who says there is no God, there’s no right, there’s no wrong, so we’re just having fun. We’re sick in the head, have a nice day.’”
At the same event, Robertson went on to say that American liberals follow Satan and are worse than Stalin and the Nazis.

Remember, all of this was at a prayer breakfast.

Ed Kilgore added, “[T]his guy is just an actor, right? Maybe so, but he was also a featured speaker at this year’s CPAC event, and has been hailed as a great and wise American by more Republican pols than you can count. Hell, Mike Huckabee and Bobby Jindal may ultimately come to blows over their competing claims to be the dude’s best friend.”

GI Korea, you are very generous to host Tbone’s new news aggregation site which collects the dullest and least intetesting left-leaning stories from all over the web and puts them into one convenient location where they can be rapidly scrolled through and ignored.

Perhaps it should be a weekly… no, daily… feature to have, along with Open Thread, the Stewart/Maddow/Tbone Report.

This really is the best way to keep up on leftist misinformation, hyperbole, and sensationalism.

That Rachel Maddows guy sure can suck the joy out of a room… I don’t understand what so-called reality shows about Cajuns and guns or ducks or terrorists have to do with Korea; but I guess it does say a lot about how boring life must be for some folks.

Stuff I find funny:

Q: How many Project Managers does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A: Two. One to screw in the light bulb and another to tell the first one how much easier it would have using Agile Methodology.

John Stewart is entertaining, insightful, funny, and mostly correct (though selective).

Rachael Madcow is bitter, dull, and intentionally misrepresents much of what he focuses on.

Both of them bring attention to the radical fringe and pretend it is the mainstream.

But that’s the 2000s… and they are not the only ones guilty of this.

setnaffa says “That Rachel Maddows guy…”

You sound anti-gay = Pro Indiana RFRA, you should move to Indiana!

EGGHEAD says…”John Stewart is selective. Rachael Maddow intentionally misrepresents. Both of them bring attention to the radical fringe and pretend it is the mainstream.”

There you go blaming the media again. You sound like Mike Pence from Indiana. You should move there with setnaffa…

There is a huge ruckus(get ready for many demonstrations) in Indiana while GOP Governor Mike Pence blames the media. But why won’t he answer the question whether it’s legal for a business to kick out a gay person(s) from this/that establishment for being gay. Perhaps if Mike Pence read the bill he’d understand it enough to answer questions about the bill?

Pence blames media: ‘Read the bill,’ not the papers
http://www.indystar.com/story/news/politics/2015/03/26/pence-blames-media-read-bill-papers/70501096/?hootPostID=%5B%27d6dbff699455eb89313317f8be0f5190%27%5D
“Indiana Gov. Mike Pence in a local radio interview urged Hoosiers to “read the bill instead of reading the papers,” suggesting the media were to blame for the national outrage that has erupted over the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
But opponents fear it would allow business owners to refuse services to same-sex couples.”

Meet the 5 Indiana Republicans who voted against RFRA
http://www.indystar.com/story/news/2015/03/30/meet-indiana-republicans-voted-rfra/70568776/
Religious conservatives hailed the bill as providing a much-needed check against government forcing those who have strong faiths to violate their principles. Opponents fear it will be used as a license to discriminate, because it might encourage business owners to cite their religious beliefs if they wish to refuse service to someone.
Much of the focus of the debate has been the implications of whether the bill sent a discriminatory message to gays and lesbians and same-sex couples.
Clere said there’s no doubt it did.
He said that while his fellow Republicans have tried to downplay that aspect, “it’s impossible to separate it” so soon after a failed Republican-led push to amend the state’s constitution to ban same-sex marriages.
“I know supporters of RFRA have said it’s not about gay people or gay rights, but it’s unavoidable,” Clere said.
Clere said he also couldn’t support the bill because no one really knows what it actually can or can’t do.
“The only sure thing about this legislation from a legal standpoint is it leaves a lot of questions unanswered and will provide work for a lot of attorneys,” he said.

1. Businesses possibly should be able to interact with whatever customers they choose while the free market sorts it out.

2. This concept should be structured around freedom of enterprise rather than freedom of religion.

3. Why are Christians so scared of gay people getting married?

“White man beaten on St. Louis train for refusing to talk about Michael Brown case”

Here, let me fix that…

White man beaten for… for… probably being white… with no real care about what he talked about.

In fact, the brother taking the video also knew how this was going to play out long before the action started.

tbone, I seriously had no idea gay rights were such a big thing at your house. I’ll try to be more considerate.

However, if you were paying attention, you’d note that the Indiana law is weaker than similar laws regarding freedom of association in about 22 other states and the Federal law signed by Bill Clinton. It may have even been a shock for CT Governor O’Malley after he banned travel to Indiana to discover the CT law is stronger.

BTW, There’s this pushback against “white privilege” in the Presybyterian Church, too. What side would you take in thaqt debate? http://www.charismanews.com/us/48944-34-000-black-churches-break-ties-with-presbyterian-church-usa

setnaffa is a recluse, he thinks only about my house and knows nothing about what is happening around the nation/America with Indiana and Arkansas currently leading the nation in hatred(it often changes from GOP state to GOP state – it wasn’t long ago that Arizona lead the way but for some stupid reason stupid GOPers can’t finger it how stupid they look all over America – minus the cultish Foxnews watchers.) He simply jumps on the hate bandwagon and fantasizes about me and my house. Some churchgoer you claim to be, now go repent or think you’re soon to be a god you freak.

“GOPers can’t finger it”

I doubt that’s true. While the most conservative Christians might choose not to, I suspect all GOPers are capable of fingering it.

…or maybe that completely nonsensical sentence had some other meaning that is only clear to one in the depths of a substance abuse episode.

On the topic of open threads…

When Ling and Lee knowingly violated North Korean law, there was a mad scramble at the top to rally all personnel and resources to free them.

Now that the framework to begin to start to prepare to get ready to let Iran go nuclear is established, it is noticeable that nobody considered working Amir Mirza Hekmati into the deal.

He is a honorable former Marine who was either visiting family in Iran or spying for the CIA… depending on whose story you listen to… but, either way, worth bringing home.

The dirtbag deserter gets saved. The professional does not.

The Obama administration really is a bunch of scumbags… and, by extension, so are those who support it and its behavior and values.

We know now that there were folks working for FDR who were on Stalin’s payroll, too. Yalta was as much of a fiasco as Kerry’s Tehran junket. But the USSR contained fewer folks willing to die in a nuclear holocaust as long as they were able to kill Jews.

Is it so difficult to imagine folks advising BHO could be not-so-subtly working for the mullahs? Valerie Jarrett was born there. Others in his Administration might have closer ties. And there are probably others with strong ties to Moscow and Beijing.

The idea of leaving US Marines behind in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, and Mexico has not bothered the current Administration–who views most honourably-discharged veterans are terrorists anyway–so one more left in Iran will not cause our leader any more sleeplessness than the 4 dead in Benghazi…

But. Let’s concentrate on a pizza parlor in Indiana that might refuse to cater a gay wedding but has never been asked…
